In today’s fast-pace business, many functional and line managers or supervisors in many organizations have to handle human resources issues as part of their daily job. In leading 21st century organizations, Line Managers responsible for People Management as they are the most proximate representation of senior management at the line with the people. They are expected to recruit, to develop, and to discipline their own team. Every manager is a people manager indeed. But not all managers are ready to take on this assignment. Not all of them have adequate understanding on HR concepts and the skills in managing their HR practices. They have become HR Business Partners in the frontline and shop floors of the organization.  On the hand, the Human Resource Department hardly gets the spotlight on them. Other popular departments such as Marketing and Operations are normally the area of focus. However, the HR functions as a business partner is indeed the backbone of the organization unless the organization can make do without their employees. But managing or working in a HR Department is not an easy task, it requires various skills and people management. They support functional and line Managers managing their people. The world today moves at a much faster rate of change.  He started his first construction business anyway and later venture into fish business. Both failed miserably!  

Professionally, he was in the corporate arena as an Officer, Executive, Manager, Assistant General Manager and a Director. Initially, he started as an Finance Officer in the bank and later intentionally  moved into Palm oil mill and manufacturing, education and training, oil & gas, aviation and finally in shipping to gain corporate experience. It never in his mind to explore the business opportunities in a small oil palm, transport and speaking for a corporate but those were the things he did those years.  He is an introvert but often mis-categorized as an extrovert. He is here to nurture, train, coach, mentor, guide, share and empower, so don’t take everything he say so damn personally.
